No dia 05 de outubro de 2023, foi realizada, virtualmente, a reunião da Comissão Técnica da Rede Ibero-americana de Cooperação Jurídica Internacional (IberRed), que contou com uma representação da Associação Ibero-americana de Ministérios Públicos (AIAMP), a Conferência de Ministros da Justiça dos Países Ibero-americanos (COMJIB) e a Cúpula Judicial Ibero-americana, além dos representantes de uma Assistência Tecnica de apoio à IberRed e Iber@,
Um dos principais temas do encontro foi a adequação dos usuários da Iber@ conforme as características da IberRed (cooperação complementaria e usuários nominais) e do Tratado de Medellin (cooperação formal e usuários de autoridades centrais). Foi apresentada também, uma nova lista de matérias de Pontos de Contato e Enlaces/Ligações, segundo a qual será redesenhado o buscador na Plataforma Iber@ para facilitar o trabalho de seus usuários.
Da mesma forma, foi discutida a proposta de que a plataforma Iber@ sirva para criar uma Rede de redes, na qual os pontos de contato e enlaces/ligações possam fazer consultas com os pontos de contatos das outras redes incluídas na plataforma. A proposta foi aceita pela Comissão Tecnica e será submetida à consideração da Comissão Executiva.
Também foi discutida a preparação da Reunião de Pontos de Contato em Matéria Civil, que será organizada os dias 14 y 15 de dezembro no Chile de forma presencial, como aconteceu nos anos anteriores à pandemia do COVID-19. A reunião de Pontos de Contato em Matéria Penal será realizada no início de 2024, ano no qual a IberRed celebrará 20 anos desde sua fundação em Cartagena de Indias em 2004.
Durante o encontro, foi também debatida uma proposta de Plano de Trabalho 2023-2024 de IberRed, tanto como a proposta de Declaração de criminalidade emergente no contexto de crises sanitárias e foi solicitado apoio para sua aprovação pela AIAMP, a Cúpula Judicial Ibero-americana e a COMJIB.

IberRed Technical Commission
On October 5, 2023, a virtual meeting of the Technical Commission of the Ibero-American Network for International Legal Cooperation (IberRed) was held, with representatives of the Ibero-American Association of Public Prosecutors (AIAMP), the Conference of Ministers of Justice of Ibero-American Countries (COMJIB) and the Ibero-American Judicial Summit, as well as representatives of a Technical Assistance to support IberRed and Iber@.
One of the main topics of the meeting was the adaptation of Iber@ users according to the characteristics of IberRed (complementary cooperation and nominal users) and the Treaty of Medellín (formal cooperation and users of central authorities). A new list of topics for Contact Points and Links was also reported, according to which the search engine on the Iber@ Platform will be redesigned to facilitate the work of its users.
Likewise, the proposal that the Iber@ platform serve to create a Network of networks was discussed, in which the contact points and links of IberRed cwould be able to make consultations with the contact points of the other networks included in the platform. The proposal was accepted by the Technical Commission and will be submitted to the Executive Commission for consideration.
The preparation of the Meeting of Contact Points in Civil Matters was also discussed, which will be organized on 14th and 15th of December 2023 in Chile, in-person, as occurred in the years prior to the COVID19 pandemic. The Meeting of Contact Points in Criminal Matters will be held at the beginning of 2024, year in which IberRed will celebrate 20 years since its founding in Cartagena de Indias in 2004.
During the meeting, a proposal for IberRed’s 2023-2024 Work Plan was also debated, as well as the proposed Declaration of emerging crime in the context of health crises, and support was requested for its approval by the AIAMP, the Ibero-American Judicial Summit. and COMJIB.
